Recovery In Action

The Washington Recovery Alliance (WRA) and the King County Recovery Coalition (KCRC) will host Recovery in Action, a community pre-event taking place just before the annual King County Behavioral Health Legislative Forum.

Recovery in Action is designed to bring together community members, providers, and partners to build momentum for the conversations that will follow at the Forum. The pre-event will feature pro-recovery activity tables, food and refreshments, giveaways, and opportunities to connect with others in the recovery community. This gathering sets the stage for meaningful dialogue and shared purpose before the evening’s legislative program begins.

READ BEFORE REGISTERING: To help us coordinate meetings and provide accurate materials, we ask for your Washington State Legislative District during registration. This information is essential for ensuring that attendees receive the correct meeting details, talking points, and logistical guidance at Recovery in Action and the Legislative Forum.

By registering for Recovery in Action, you’ll also have the opportunity to indicate if you’re interested in volunteering for roles such as note-taking, greeting, or supporting pro-recovery activity tables. This helps us coordinate logistics and ensure the event runs smoothly. We’re also planning a small giveaway for pre-event attendees (including the possibility of purple beanies) so registering early ensures you don’t miss out if supplies are limited.
